About Dr. Patton

Dr Patton is fellowship trained in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery, treating complex lower extremity disorders with a thoughtful approach. He studied medicine at Loma Linda University Medical School where he served as the president of the Medical School Senate. Dr Patton spent five years of residency in orthopedic training at the University of Washington Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Following residency, he completed advanced fellowship training in complex foot reconstruction and ankle replacement at Orthopedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids.

Dr Patton has published and lectured on research topics including ankle replacement, pilon fractures, midfoot fusions, calcaneus fractures, talus fractures, great toe arthritis, systemic approach to foot arthritis, stress fractures, motion analysis, and arthroscopic knots. He serves as a consultant in orthopedic innovation with Arthrex, an industry leader in orthopedic implants. 

Volunteerism motivates Dr Patton. He served immediately after the Haiti earthquake in 2010. Dr Patton established a relationship with a hospital in Port-au-Prince and continues to support them today. He was nominated to chair of the school of medicine class committee to support this hospital in Haiti. He also has medical volunteer experience in Belize and the Dominican Republic. 

He enjoys activities such as travel with his wife, enduro dirtbiking, and snowboarding. He has completed several triathlons including IronMan Wisconsin. Dr Patton's passion is to partner with his patients to restore them to optimum activity.
